Sand Casting
Ideal for larger or more functional parts like machine components, brackets, and plaques. The sand mold is 3D printed directly using a binder jet process, creating your geometry without the need for traditional patterns. Molten metal is poured into the printed mold producing a casting with excellent dimensional tolerances.
Investment Casting
Perfect for figurines, tokens, and other intricate parts. Your design is 3D printed in wax, submerged in a ceramic slurry, and then the wax is melted out to form a precise mold. Molten metal is poured into the mold, capturing every fine detail and producing a casting with a smooth surface finish. This process is limited to castings less than 3"x3"x6".

Materials
Aluminum
Current capabilities are limited to a max casting weight of 8 pounds of aluminum. We typically use 535 (Almag) alloy due to its high mechanical properties without heat treatment.
Bronze
Currently limited to a max casting weight of 20 pounds of bronze. We typically use Everdur (C873) silicon bronze for its excellent castability and good mechanical properties.
